The Foundation
How You Can Help
Sholom Park is located in Marion County, Florida. It is owned and supported by the Horticultural Arts & Park Institute, Inc. (HAPI), a charitable foundation, and by contributions from the public. Donations fund the ongoing preservation and upkeep of the park and its structures so that all who enter once can return to this special place of peace for years to come. Individuals who wish to support the foundation and the park may do so by:
- Making a voluntary contribution to the Foundation that will be used to ensure the park’s continued beauty and to provide speakers and teachers for classes that will be hosted on park grounds.
- Volunteering your time to serve as docents or tour guides who assist park guests when they are visiting the park.
If either of these options interests you, or if there is another way in which you believe you can help preserve the park, please contact Tom Ackert, Park Manager at (352) 854-7435.
