Sholom Park Rules

WELCOME and SHOLOM

Hours of Operation – Sholom Park is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to dusk.

Sholom Park is a special place where people and nature may interact with one another and a place of meditation, peace and tranquility.  There is no admission fee to the park.  Please show consideration for other visitors and for all living things within the park by abiding by these simple but extremely important guidelines:

  • Please do not feed the wildlife within the park, and do not bring or take wildlife to or from the park.
  • Pets are not allowed in the park as they may disturb the natural inhabitants of the park.
  • Children are welcome to enjoy the fascinating beauty of the park, but please no running, shouting or roughhousing.
  • Please enjoy photographing the majesty of your surroundings but be careful not to disturb other visitors or tour groups while doing so.
  • Remember that commercial videotaping and sound recording devices are allowed only with prior permission obtained from park officials.
  • Devices for the handicapped and park vehicles are the only vehicles allowed in the park.
  • Skates, skateboards, roller blades, bicycles and scooters are not permitted.
  • All events held within the park must be approved by HAPI.
  • Park Officials reserve the right to ask visitors to leave park grounds if they are disrupting the tranquility of the park and may deny future admission to those who fail to honor the park’s guidelines.

It is our fondest hope that visitors find Sholom Park to be a model for peace, inner reflection, and meditation.  May young and old alike share the serenely magical beauty the park provides.

We all live in one world – let us respect it…and let us respect one another.

SHOLOM
